Intro
Scope of this will be to test the differences in how the AX protocol performs vs the AC protocol, this will include testing between client devices such as mobile phones and laptop.
Devices used
The tests will be performed between an HAP AC3 for the AC device and the chateau AX 18 for the AX device, the client devices will be a Galaxy fold 2.
Testing method
First testing will be done between the client devices and device at different locations and distances in relation to the device, from there the TX/RX strength, the modulation rate, and the throughput will be recorded. These tests will be done on an isolated 20 mhz channel on the 2.4 and 80mhz channels on the 5gz, all with the default configuration applied other than the regulatory settings.
