There are a couple other things that I can suggest with the 180-t's the first one is to try and get some form of rj11/12 to rj45 adapter or better yet re-terminate the connector to a RJ45. If you play with the cable while there is a rj11/12 connector you will see that there is movement in the connector and it is not the most stable.
The 180-t's are also susceptible to noise, because of this we suggest grounding the module. If you have a power adapter with 3 prongs/connectors chances are the SFP cage and the case should be grounded but if you have a barrel style plug or if it only has 2 prongs on the wall side it will mean you will have to use a grounding point on the case or even module.
Lastly if you have not done so already please set the SFP interface it is installed in to 1gb full duplex with no auto negotiation, without we have found that odd things happen like the module not linking to the router correctly after reboots, requiring to reseat the module to fix it etc.
